Today, not unusually, I have been surfing more than 4 hours. And afterwards, I got into thinking about all this…
I just spend my time mainly going in circle around the very same few websites over and over again. It’s actually kind of stupid; yeah, I visit a lot of new sites but that’s only to get some particular information and leave without returning anytime again while I just surf my few ‘usual’ sites just for the sake of it. The thing is, I tend to get into some community based sites really often and I just keep returning to see if, for example, I got any answers to my post, etc. Also, in this surfing pattern there is also a lot of room for new websites which would make the surfing experience more interesting for me but for some reason I just don’t pick them up and continue with my usual ones.
It would be okay, but at the end of the day I realize I haven’t actually learnt anything new (which is probably the main purpose of the net) and have just wasted a few hours reading stuff that doesn’t tell anything.
Anyway, this is kinda meaningless as I have no idea on how to change this pattern. But the is a huge time-waste and I just don’t think it’s the way it should be. That’s why I went on with this…
