My productivity has recently been good at nights (maybe because there is not much to do) but the few times I have gotten up early it the morning, the productivity has been very high. More than that, I am very interested in Uberman’s sleep schedule but I can’t adopt it yet as I have an unflexible schedule.
Now I usually go to sleep at about 2 AM and sometimes even later. That results in me waking up something near the noon. The first thing to start saving time and to get closer to Uberman’s is to wake up earlier (it’s relevant, because I would learn the self-discipline that I would need to take on Uberman’s). Here is what I wanna do to become an early riser - I would wake up at a fixed time (I’ll make that maybe 6 AM or even as late as 7 AM and later turn it to 5 AM if I would feel like doing it) but I would go to sleep whenever I start feeling tired. Like that, if once I undersleep, the other night my body would catch up. I order to do this, I need to go to sleep at, like, 23 PM.
So, anyway, I can talk about this or I can actually do it. So, this night I am going to sleep at1 AM. Tomorrow night it’s going to be the midnight and the night of the day after tomorrow it’s gonna be it. From then I’ll be able to see how it goes for me.
I don’t know if that’s too soon or not, but I’m gonna try it. If, however, I fail to fall asleep at 1 AM tonight, I am going to set up my alarm clock to go off earlier and I will need sleep and I will go to sleep earlier. That’s the main idea.
Get ready for some morning-posts. :)
