Okay, it’s not abroad, I’m as usually going to the other city (I’d like to go abroad too, as for that matter). I wanna have tried all kinds of things, all kinds of blogging included so I am blogging, :)
So, my bus was late by 5 minutes today and I missed the train by one minute as a result (hey, I know the schedule is tight but it’s better to have 4 minutes than 34 of waiting-time). So I jumped on a microbus (whatever that’s called). It’s cheaper than a bus plus it goes faster and people sitting besides are sometimes very keen on socializing since the trip is long and so on (whether that comes as a benefit or a downside, lol). But now this is fucking crammed and I am barely able to read my laptop screen since it’s like 4 inches away from my head (that’s the furthest it can go) and stuff. And I missed a …. well, whatever, you’re probably pretty bored reading this already.
What I wanted to also write about to make this more meaningful is thinking. The day before yesteday it was cold and I was late or something (don’t remember the exact circumstances) and I caught myself swearing and thinking how I’m not gonna be able to make it to somewhere or something because everything sucks. But when I caught myself, it struck me in some interesting way. Why would I be thinking negatively? I have heard quite some stuff about how good it is to be optimistic but it seems I haden’t applied that now. So now I kinda try to modify my thoughts and switch to the positive side of thinking whenever I catch myself in a bad situation thinking badly. Some kind of mini positive-thinking experiemnt.
And it seems it’s a bit taugh so far. But still. Plus I seem to be on the drive today from the afternoon (dunno if that’s related, maybe that’s because I’m feeling a bit of headache that might be from the cold weather, but the headache would work in the opposite way, huh?). Oh, well, so to say, whatever it is, I must learn to maintain + enhance this state and I’m halfway done. :)
Now I’ll shut down the laptop because my eyes hurt already. And I need to rest. I have work to do in the weekend.
