And why the hell did I start doing this? Anyway. I’ll just share some of the movies you should could see. In fact, you shouldn’t anything. You either can or may want to or may not want.

I watched V for Vendetta recently. The first few minutes of the movie were inspiring, the rest, I don’t think s worth watching. In any case, talking movies, here are a few I liked and, I thought, could share.

First, watch Lord of War. A few years ago, when I watched it, I really liked it. Then, The Pursuit of Happyness is quite a new one and it’s inspiring. Also, I have done a few movie reviews on this blog too, you could check them out too.  Another good one, off the top of my head, is Requiem For A Dream (watched this quite a while ago). Don’t really remember many more at the moment.

It’s kind of hard to create posts for me. It’s just like I have to work to figure what to write and it doesn’t come naturally yet at all. I noticed like writing but doing it constantly just doesn’t come good. That’s why I wouldn’t think blogging is a good thing for me. I wonder if it would change during the course of the week. Maybe I’ll get down to even more chit-chatting in the future posts. Maybe not. I guess we’ll see.

And works simpler than Google Notes. I coded it in, perhaps, an hour or so. Does anyone need this service, though? Some time ago I was thinking of releasing it to the public (slightly improved) but then I hadn’t even had it coded and I was lazy anyway.

Today I have watched the Déjà-Vu movie. First things first, I would rate it 8/10. Of course, I’m rating it just after having finished watching it so it might not be the most accurate rating.

I kinda have to say it feels like the The Departed movie. I am not sure what but it has some connection with it. Whatever, this movie is enjoyable. It has a few flaws in it, like I think some characters act in a really silly manner and that is certainly not what would take place if such a situation had actually occured. It seems the old Holywood-style-story trend kicks in in some parts. In other words, the plot is not perfect.

Other than that, it was cool. The general idea is not new but this variation of the idea is super. The cinematography was also stunning. It gave me quite some thinking after watching it and if a movie does that, it’s awesome already.

On a different note, I notice I’m just blogging about movies or not blogging at all. Movies are okay but I did not mean it to be a movie-review blog anyway. Well, I guess I’ll have to do something about it. Maybe I’ll discuss the matter in an upcoming posts. Or… We’ll see…

I got my hands on the “Crash” movie and watched it (un, I had not seen it before). When I watch movies at home and they are way over an hour of lenght, I usually split them into a few seanses. Well, I didn’t have to do that for this one.

The movie doesn’t really have one story line, it’s just full of characters some of which are unrelated to each other (except that perhaps they all live in L.A.) and it tells their stories. The movie itself focuses on racism.  And yeah, it’s pretty cool. The stories told are all interesting, they make you think everything over and it’s unique in a way. After each character’s line it makes you judge him and then rejudge him, shift your opinion on the characters, etc.

Withal, many of the stories are a bit implausible and the characters meet too strangely (like, there are perhaps too many coincidences). Also, the film uses some clichés, it’s predictable in some ways. But the overall enjoyment that the movie gives is very high, in the very least in my case, so, as long as it goes, who cares about the flaws. I would give it a 9 out of 10. I wonder how I had managed to miss this one earlier.
And by the way, yeah, it won an Academy Award in 2005.

So I watched the “The Departed” movie today. Well, I kinda wanted to, because I hadn’t seen it and if a movie has won an oscar, it’s gotta be good, right? Wrong. Well, but this one was okay, nontheless.

The first hour and a half I was just thinking “What the hell is this?”. Maybe I wasn’t paying enough attention to it or anything, but in any case, it wasn’t too enjoyable there. Just in the last part of the movie I understood what is actually happening and how things are. It is just near the end where things stick together. I found out I even subconsiously confused Leonardo DiCaprio with Matt Damon (yeah, I know, but I still did). They could have chosen actors that would be more different…

Well, in any case, I really liked the end. Although a bit vague and cruel, it was good. Not something totally unexpected, I should say, but still good.

Overall, I would rate the movie with something like 7 of 10. Probably, not quite the movie I would have given an Oscar to, though. Although, I should have seen the other ones to decide…
